Would viewing fitted kitchens make you remain in your present house.
With the housing market showing an increase for the first time in months people may once again be considering shall i sell my house or just make it better. With many still not sure how the market is going to swing I thought I would look at the centre piece or heart to any home the Kitchen. Whether you have a fitted kitchen a bespoke handmade kitchen or an individually selected number of kitchen units, the space needs to be the best for you.
It may appear like little things but anything that you feel doesn’t work for you should be jotted down and set aside ready for when you really do begin kitchen planning. A kitchen when laid out properly makes working within it an absolute joy instead of having the usual conflicts of not being able to stand somewhere without being in the way. By ensuring that a kitchen has spaces within it that people can chill in and at the same time refining the work spaces to work more intuitively can make all the difference to this most central of hubs.
Fitted kitchens should only be purchased if you know that the person selling you that particular style of kitchen knows how a kitchen should work and that some things will work and other things wont. From the cooker itself there should be a really defined working triangle that gives you space to prepare food, an area to cook the food and an area to wash and dispose of the scraps and preparation cast off’s. Any task that you do is easier if you have the correct tools to do it with, in this way you can ensure that any tasks you do in the kitchen can either be fast preps or just long extended relaxing experiences.
Personally with most fitted kitchens I have carried out any cooking in the main downfall I have found with them is that they are frequently really hard to negotiate around. Making it extremely difficult to work fluidly and in some instances safely, we have a little lad and you need a space to be safe so that any children aren’t tripped over or stood on or worse have something dropped on them. Design can always make sure that things like this don’t happen with the addition of individual areas you can ensure you have a space that can be purely for eating and an area you can cordon off with a simple gate to ensure you can work safely. I hope this is article is of use my name is David Harland.
