Menorca is situated in the mediterranean sea in western europe aproximately 34 km north east of Majorca and 120 miles east of Barcelona and is only 48kms long. Try for example the lovely Cala Mitjana by taking a left just before you reach Cala Santa Galdana.

The northern side of the island is wetter and cooler than the more sheltered southern side where most of the tourist villas and complexes are to be found. Access to the island is via the airport at Mahon or you can take a boat from Barcelona to Menorca or from neighbouring Majorca. Renting a villa in Menorca simply makes sense.
